I am much the same as any other woman in that I buy fragrance cosmetics and other grooming products on a regular basis. However I never begrudge the money I pay for my grooming products and there are two reasons for this.
First of all I know that making an effort with hair care products and fragrance cosmetics pays off. The people I come into contact with notice that I make an effort with these things and I’ve received many compliments over the years. When people tell you that you look or smell great it is a massive confidence builder. It certainly makes me feel good when it happens. It beats being told that I look tired or stressed which I’ve always thought is basically a polite way of saying you don’t look your best.
The second reason I never resent paying for fragrance cosmetics, make up and grooming products is that I could pay a lot more for them than I do. I make it a habit to go online in search of discount fragrance cosmetics, hair care products, make up and skin lotions so I never pay the full retail price. Knowing that I look good for less gives me a buzz.
