Organic Skin Care Products Worth the Extra Cost |

I made a real killing on skin care products last fall at a thrift store. They had bars of organic soap there that uses olive oil and some citrus products to make the nicest soap. I bought about 100 bars at $.20 each. I gave them away as gifts and everyone who got some just loves that soap. After I got home, I found that the soap retails for $7 a bar. Boy, did I feel good about getting skin care products at much lower prices than I could ever have thought possible. I'm starting to use organic skin care products because I have learned that everything you put on your skin stays there and gets absorbed into the body.
It's not all that important to use organic shampoos or conditioners on your hair because they are washed off almost immediately, but with hand lotions and cosmetics, all those chemicals that are in them can pass through your skin and be absorbed into your system. So if you are going to spend good money on something, make sure you do it on your skin care products and not necessarily your hair care. |
