Hair Styles

  


About a week ago, I was having a particularly bad hair day and my mother in law asked me if I had been thinking about new hair styles.  I asked her why she was asking and she said, she thought something new would be nice, because it’s boring to always have the same hair styles from season to season. I am not one to surprise easily, but that comment caught me off guard.  She’s Dutch, and they are known for their bluntness, but even after all these years of being in the family, hearing that the look of my hair is less than appealing was a little difficult to hear.  I did manage to laugh it off, and truth is, I had been thinking about changing hair styles for a while, but I had found myself unsure of what I would like to do.  I’d been letting my hair grow longer, in case I chose longer hair styles, but part of me wants to cut it to shoulder length.  I just don’t feel  I look the best with shorter hair, so what’s a girl to do?
