My Hair Styles Over The Years |

I am always amazed when I go back through my old photographs and see what different hair styles I have had throughout my lifetime. It's a good thing that I can laugh at myself! When I was young, hair care consisted of a daily shampoo and a brush. Maybe mom would pull my hair into piggy tails with those thick yarn-like ribbons that came in Rainbow Bright colors. As I moved to my tween years, my hair became shorter and shorter, and my morning routine started to involve a blow drier and curling iron. I remember getting a fantastic haircut right before my freshman year of high school began. My mom took me to her professional stylist. I got highlights! As I became independent and started college, my hair went through some funky hair styles. I dyed it black once. Then, when my roots were an inch long, I had it all shaved off, with the exception of my bangs. I grew it out long after that, and I didn't cut it shorter than shoulder length until just this past couple of months! (My husband loves it when I have long hair, but he's adjusting.) My new hair care routine? A lot of goop, some red coloring, and a do that looks a lot like Alice from Twilight's hair...a fresh look for a busy mom!
