Skin Care Products
This morning I opened a package to find a box filled to the brim with my favorite skin care products. The box was from my favorite store online where I always order skin care products because of their great prices, but I had not ordered them. I thought for a moment that there was a mistake, but then I also realized there was no invoice for the packaging materials, which meant that obviously someone had sent them as a gift. It isn’t my birthday, so I couldn’t imagine who would even think to send my favorite skin care products, much less who would have the idea that I was almost out of a few of them, and then it hit me. Mom. She and I had been talking about two weeks ago and I’d mentioned to her that I was going to be ordering some skin care products and asked if she wanted to order some with me to save on shipping. She asked where I ordered from and I told her, but she never said yes or no. Obviously she wanted to surprise me. I think the fact that she’s started ordering things online surprises me as much, if not more than the skin creams.
