skin care productsYesterday we had a big thunderstorm that dumped tons of rain on us, and it cooled off beautifully, so I decided it was time to go out and clean part of the yard up. I clean a corner up at a time so the task doesn't seem so overwhelming. I started where I have all the aloe vera and rosemary planted because those are the plants that I most enjoy in skin care products. I don't actually harvest my own aloe for the skin care products I use, but from time to time, I do break off a stalk of the aloe vera to soothe an insect bite or heal the infrequent sunburn. And once in a while I snip some rosemary to toss in the bath to completely relax and refresh myself after a long, hard day. I found out this summer that natural skin care products are the best route to go. There are some ingredients that actually are quite beneficial to the skin, like avocado oil, rosemary, and aloe. There are many others, but these are the ingredients I look for in my skin care products. I like how they nourish my skin, hence my tending of the plants I grow and the good they do us.
