I never went as far as to have hair flowing down to my shoulders being it is extremely thick and at length curly but it has gotten pretty insane. At a certain point, when the hair begins hiding my ears the top puffs up and resembles a flat top. This hairstyle is great for laughs but not the best when trying to look good. Recently I went back to a near buzz haircut. It is short enough where I can jump in the shower, get dressed and head out without having to do anything else. It makes waking up a few minutes later in the morning much easier.

Being someone who loves to silence the alarm clock a solid two times before rolling out of bed, the less time it takes to get ready in the morning the more time I have to eat. This is one of the greatest advantages in my mind to a short hairstyle. Afternoon temps are getting into 80 over here in LA so it is cooler as well.
