hair careIf someone mentions hair care I immediately think of shampoo, conditioner and regular trims. The truth is, though, that my hair care routine actually starts on the inside. I try to eat a well balanced diet that is nutritionally complete and includes lots of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains, nuts, pasta, potatoes and rice. I drink plenty of water to keep my system well hydrated. I take vitamins and nutritional supplements every day and drink a probiotic dairy yogurt beverage too. I consider all of these measures to be an important part of hair care.  Through my diet and lifestyle I provide my scalp with all the oils, vitamins, minerals and nutrients it needs to make healthy hair.  You see to my way of thinking all the hair care shampoos and conditioners can only do so much for a person who eats a lot of the wrong foods, doesn’t eat enough or avoids taking nutritional supplements. It seems to me that physical beauty always starts with what we decide to put into our bodies. This is true regardless of whether we are talking about beautiful hair, skin, eyes, teeth or nails.
