     Valentine’s Day had come and gone, like so many before it. I had been really busy, and you guessed it forgot. So the date was February the 23rd. Ten days after the 'day', I had still not remembered. My wife had not said a word to me. We even went camping, no mention of Valentines Day. So I am sitting at my desk at work, looking through the paper when it hit me, well an article hit me. "25% off after Valentines Day Sale". I broke out in a cold sweat. I felt sick to my stomach. I am going to go down in the history books as the worlds jerkiest husband. I don't think so. I am going to save this sinking ship.


  Immediately I logged on to the internet and searched for skin care products, a perfume gift set and some hair care products that she would never buy for herself. All of the information I was able to access was awesome. I searched, and searched, and searched. Finally narrowing the decision down to a gift certificate to her favorite salon, a perfume gift set or hair care products. I ended up getting the gift certificate. A woman from my office said that her husband would be buying her the Hope diamond if he ever forgot Valentines Day, so the spa gift certificate was the least that I could do for my wife. I hope she forgives me.
